Good Air-conditioner

I bought this after we returned home from a hurricane evacuation and we used this to cool a room in our house. It was a bigger room that it was suppose to cool but it cooled it with problem. I just wished the vents did not point up.

At first I was a little unsure if it would cool my bedroom being only 5000 BTUs but decided to give it a try. Wow what a pleasant surprise. I never even ran it at the coldest setting and it did a great job. Most nights Id get up and turn it to a warmer setting. Saved me a lot of money as I would turn off my central system before going to bed and run only this window unit. Then in the morning I would turn on the central system back on and turn this one off. Some of the reviews I had read said they thought it was a bit noisy but it IS a machine so yes it makes noise but I didnt think it was bad at all. I have other LG products and have always been happy with my purchases. This little air conditioner is no exception. Its a well built reliable product that exceeded my expectations at a very fair and competitive price. I just couldnt imagine finding a better product at a better price.

We use this unit to cool our bedroom and it keeps the temperature comfortable and the air refreshed. We turn it on about 1 hour before bedtime and the room is comfortable by the time we go to bed regardless of the outside temp.

For me at my age this was very easy to use. My air conditioning unit had gone out there with during this Covid there was just no way I could get it fixed right away so I bought this air conditioner for the back room and I had one of my friends loan me one for the kitchen. I have three bedrooms up a large living room the kitchen and the bathroom on this floor. It was so cool and comfortable in my home I didnt have to worry about the big unit outside getting fixed. And I could shut a door in that hallway and the air conditioner I bought from you kept two bedrooms a bath and the hall really cool for evening and night I loved it. What I recommend this absolutely I definitely would buy again. I have already stored for winter so I dont have a photo to add I wish you wouldve said something earlier for me to do this review LOL

I bought this at the start of summer. It is used to supplement the Central Air Conditioner for one room when it gets exceptionally hot and humid. It works fine. I made a mistake of not reading all the features which is my fault. I was wanting an Eco mode so I picked the wrong model. I try to buy LG whenever possible.

We decided to purchase this A/C because I work from home and usually it is only me in the house for the most part of the day. We hated turning on the Central A/C to cool the entire house when I was just using my office. This little A/C cooled my office down to the point it was cold and when I forgot to turn it off it cooled down the better part of the house Our house is only a little over 2000 sq. ft. one floor but it made a difference to the point our electric bill was half of what it was before purchasing this A/C We love it Excellent Purchase Would absolutely recommend it

Ive put this unit through the test this past summer. Bought unit in June for our main bedroom upstairs. We have central air but the upstairs is always a little warm. This ac unit is a true champ. Very guilt simple to operate and comes with everything for a clean install. We had a very hot summer in Ohio this year. I left this unit running in our bedroom 24-7 to maintain 70 degrees and no humidity from purchase till the end of August. All I had to do is clean the permanent filter once a week and I was good. Love this little unit Going to buy another one next year for the other room Thanks LG

I bought this in the height of summer for my NYC apartment and Im only sorry I waited so long to get it. Its a small unit that packs a great punch. It cooled down my 150 square foot bedroom quickly. Plus its not too noisy. I only ever used it on the low setting - as it did the job.

This was put in an upstairs window. It barely fit and we had to add some additional moulding to seat it securely and cover some gaps so that was a hassle it seemed like it wasnt made to adapt to my vinyl window. But one installed we were happy with it.

This air conditioner was purchased for a medium size bedroom and with the concern about how much electricity it will use will operating to our surprise the cooling capacity was very good/ electric bill wasnt that high. The only downfall is that the vents cant be faced down or up only left and right.

I bought this unit on June and is not cooling anymore.. in the first 2 weeks it worked fine after that thought it will get fix... well the unit is only providing air. The compressor will only run at 7-9 for a few minutes then is only hot air coming into my bedroom. Fan is working the compressor is not. I have to use my fan along with the a/c unit.

I just bought a second one of these after buying the first one 3 months ago - for our spare bedroom. One of these keeps my main bedroom cool even though the room is 240 square feet and this 5000 BTU unit is designed for 150
square feet. I got the last one they had at Home Depot. These are good little units
